I highly recommend the Boyengas team! Janelle Boyenga took the time to talk to me at length about my home-buying plans. Even in this crazy market, we were able to have our second offer accepted due to her expertise & ability to negotiate with the sellers agent. In the end, we got a single-family house we love within our budget, which we thought was an impossible task at the outset!

Shilpa is wonderful agent, very humble and very professional. She helped us for almost 6 months to find our homes. She provided us valuable feedback on valuation , location and condition of the property. She did not try to sell us but rather took our preference to look for homes for us. I highly recommend the Boyengas team and in particular Naoko! The first call I placed to the agency was answered by one of the founders, Janelle Boyengas, and she took the time to talk to me at length about my home-buying plans. I was introduced to Naoko Amaya shortly thereafter, and as first-time buyers, we could not have asked for a better experience. From helping us connect with an excellent mortgage broker to closing, Naoko was there to help us every step of the way. When we wanted to tour more homes more aggressively, she brought in an excellent and wonderful associate realtor, Suzy Cho, to help us. Together, they organized and attended multiple touring days, accompanying us on every walkthrough and patiently taking notes for us. My husband and I were looking to buy our first home in the Bay Area and connected with Shilpa through an online search. We could not have found a better realtor to help us through this very complicated and stressful process! Shilpa was extremely responsive from Day 1 and took the time to understand what we were looking for. We ended up making an offer on a house 4 days after we met her but even in this short span of time she helped us see multiple homes in different locations so we could get a better idea of what was available and be confident of the decision to make an offer on the house we liked. Shilpa was constantly in touch with us and explained each part of the process patiently. She worked on creating multiple offers for the house and when we got into a bidding war, negotiated well with the buyer’s agent to ensure we won the bid. The lender we worked with was not great and it was a stressful few days in the run up to closing. Shilpa went above and beyond to not only to constantly communicate with us and help us understand the various options we had, but also keep following up with the lender on the status of the loan. She also worked closely with the escrow agents and buyers agent to make sure we were all prepared to have an expedited closing. We felt very supported by Shilpa the entire time, not just as a realtor but as someone we could rely on as a friend. Even after moving into the house, Shilpa has continued to be in touch to make sure we feel settled in and have the right contacts for any additional services we need for the house. I just closed on a sale with Sandy and she is a dream to work with! From the listing preparation to the close of escrow, Sandy works diligently and always has my best interest at heart. Within a day of listing on the market, Sandy managed to get 2 very strong pre-emptive offers for me, both well exceeded my expectations. Sandy negotiated with the buyer to make sure that we took the highest offer with the best terms. The transaction was a tough one due to some unforeseen issues, but I'm so grateful that Sandy was always there for me to look out for my best interest and to help me figure out the best solution. Sandy helped us sell our home. We were looking for the best agent to sell our home for the best price. In addition, we knew nothing about how the selling market was. She helped us and gave us advice on what to expect through the selling process. We’re writing this review on the very day that we receive our keys to our new home. Our family and friends had told us that as first time homebuyers, the process could be arduous, but our experience was smooth sailing because of Shilpa’s expertise. When we decided to have some work done in our new bathroom, Shilpa went the extra mile to arrange and attend meetings with contractors and provided guidance on selection until we chose the right team for our project. All the while she gave time- and money-saving recommendations without any pressure about items ranging in size from appliances to quarter rounds. While our experience with Shilpa was as first-time homebuyers, she most certainly advocates for buyers and sellers at all rungs of the property ladder. When we are ready for our next rung, we know we will turn to each other with smiles on our faces and say, “Ask Shilpa.” A dream was realized today, a dream that very possibly wouldn’t have yet come true without Shilpa.

We were first time home buyers and had a very large search radius. Naoko helped us view over 20 houses all over the bay area and she accompanied us to all locations that we were interested in, some of which required more than an hour of driving each way. She also introduced us to new locations that we had not considered before but turned out to be very appealing to us.
One thing that we loved about her as our agent was that she was very patient and we never felt pushed to speed our search or make a rash decision. Moreover, Naoko was very prompt in responding to our text messages and she was readily available for phone calls.
